New Airgun Club in Southern Ohio…Airguns at Fairfield Sportsmen’s Association!
Great news for my fellow airgunning Buckeyes and Kentuckians! Yet another airgun club has sprouted in Southern Ohio/Northern Kentucky. Airguns at Fairfield Sportsmen’s Association will be a venue for both Field Target and Benchrest airgun matches. Already a well established 80 acre firearm/archery shooting complex, FSA is now welcoming airgunners to their beautiful club in Harrison Ohio which is near Cincinnati. Here is what AFSA has to say about their inaugural Field Target match this Sunday, 07/05/2020…
“Southwest Ohio is officially a destination for Airgun competitions. Join us for the first ever Airgun Field Target match at Fairfield Sportsmen’s Association. You’re welcome to enter and hit the sight-in line starting at 9:00 AM. The pre-match meeting will be held at 10:45 AM with the match starting right after (approximately 11:00 AM). The entry fee is $5 for FSA members and $10 for non-members. We will be social distancing and taking other COVID related precautions. We appreciate exact change for the entry fees. We will be providing clipboards and pencils for EVERY participant and you will keep score for the person you are paired with. We should be able to avoid masks as we are outdoors and the course allows us to stay 6 feet apart, but please bring one just in case. If you are concerned with pulling reset strings, please bring a glove or hand sanitizer with you. Lunch, food and/or beverages will not be provided, so please plan accordingly.”

Donnie Reed is our Sales Manager and general airgun guru here at Baker Airguns. He was a member of the U.S. Marine Corps, and qualified as both a Rifle Expert and Pistol Expert. Donnie is now a competitive airgun shooter, focusing primarily on field target and benchrest competitions. He has won both PCP and piston class field target matches, as well as local benchrest competitions. Donnie also runs the Youtube channel and Facebook group ALL THINGS AIRGUN. His first college degree is in Mathematics and Sciences, but he is still pursuing another in Physics and Astronomy.
