Daisy Model 50 Golden Eagle 50 year Anniversary Mfg 1936 SKU 8355
The Daisy Model 50 was produced to commemorate Daisy’s first 50 years. I was made form 1936 to 1938.
According to Gary Garber in his Encyclopedia of Plymouth Daisys, this is one of Daisy’s most beautiful guns
36 inches long, advertised as a 1,000 shot repeater. The metal is finished with a polished copper plating. It has a tube type rear sight.
The stock is painted gloss black with a anniversary decal on the left side, This was the firs Daisy to have a curved lever. The lever is made from cast iron.
The metal on this gun retains about 20-50% of the original finish. There is some copper plaiting left but it is somewhat worn.
The wood is extra nice and the decal is almost complete. It looks good.
I tested this today and it shot 288 fps. I think we probably installed new seals in the gun a few years back.
Nice old Daisy
