We’re not entirely sure if this is a model 33 or a model 36, but it was manufactured between 1933 and 1941. If it has the smaller frame it would be a 33, but we’re just not sure. This is a lever action (cast iron lever), thousand shot BB gun with a rear tube sight, and hooded front sight. It has a walnut stock with engraved branding “Buzz Barton Special” with two cowboys all inside a lasso. Marked Plymouth Michigan.
The metal is showing its age, but does not look bad. It retains about 85% of the original finish. The stock is in good condition considering the age with minor general wear. It’s hard to see in the photos, but the name Edward and the numbers 154 are etched into the stock.
This gun was cleaned, lubed, and resealed in our shop. We tested the velocity at around 238 fps.
- BB caliber
- Lever action
- Very collectable
This is a great vintage Daisy BB gun!
