The Crosman 147 is similar to the Crosman 140, but is a .177 caliber, and more rare. This is a 1st variant with spoon handle breech cover, aluminum breech, and auto re-cocking which was manufactured between 1955 and 1956. It’s a single shot, bolt action, multi-pump pneumatic air rifle with manual safety.
The wood stock was refinished (not here), and the clear coat is a little heavy. The metal has been repainted, and there are some surface scratches near the tip of the barrel.
We tested the velocity using lead pellets, and it’s shooting at around 761 fps.
- .177 caliber
- Bolt action / single shot
- Multi-pump pneumatic
This is a great collector’s gun that you can still have plenty of fun shooting!
