This item is being sold as a collectable. It is in non-working condition, being sold “as is” with no returns. We will not repair this item. The Schimel GP22 is modeled after the WWII era German Lugar. It’s a very interesting pistol with interesting mechanics. It’s a .22 caliber, CO2 powered single shot with toggle action. These are rumoured to be the first CO2 gun manufactured in the U.S.A., while not exactly true, they are the first to use removable CO2 cartridges.
The metal retains about 75% of the original finish, but doesn’t look bad at all. If anything it appears more “vintage”. The grip on this one is in excellent condition considering they are known for warping. The bolt linkage still works too, which is good, because those are often broken. It comes with a carrying case, but not an original.
- .22 caliber
- Single shot
- Modeled after the German Lugar
This is a fantastic collectable, but it doesn’t shoot.
