Quackenbush Model 83

The Quackenbush Model 83 is similar to the Quackenbush model 2, version 3. The serial number on this gun is 6497, which makes it a little more valuable since it’s below serial number 8000 indicating an earlier production. These are a .21 caliber push barrel single shot smooth bore with a nickle finish. The original nickel finish on this one has some moderate wear. It’s also missing the original stock. These guns were designed to shoot round shot, felted slugs, burred slugs, or darts. These guns were manufactured between 1879, and 1918.
