The fourth variant Crosman Model 140 was made from 1961 to 1968. These have a die-cast trigger housing. It is a .22 caliber single shot, multi-pump air rifle with a rifled steel barrel, hardwood stock and machined metal construction. This one comes with a 3×15 scope (with a slightly bent reticle) and scope mount.
The wood stock and forearm have some general wear, but nothing serious. Most of the wear is in the back of the stock. The metal retains about 90% of the finish.
We cleaned, lubed, and resealed this one in our shop, plus tested the velocity at around 548 fps using lead pellets.
