The model 179 was made from 1960 to 1981. It was part of the Daisy “ Spittin’ Image “ series and is a replica of the famous Colt single action revolver featured in every cowboy movie ever filmed. These are not hard shooting guns. By definition it is a catapult gun, slinging the BB with a spring.
The metal retains about 85% of the original finish. The grips are in about 85% original condition. Some of the stitching has come out of the bottom of the holster, but it’s still held togethet just fine with the rivets.
Velocity tested at around 140 fps.
