Crosman Model 104 Repeater .177 caliber Rare Variant !
The Crosman 104 is a .177 caliber multi-pump, repeater with a 10 shot gravity fed magazine. This one has a wood pump handle. Similar to the 102 but .177 caliber. These were manufactured before 1950. The 104 model is pretty rare!
The gun retains about 80% of the original finish.Pretty nice for the original finish.
Rifled, brass barrel. Beech stock
It’s been cleaned, lubed, and resealed in or shop. Velocity tested at around 531 fps using 8.44 gr lead pellets. Shoots good!
The action on these guns is generally not the smoothest. Wadcutter pellets work the best. If you are familiar with these guns, you understand. If you are not familiar, be forewarned. These are sold as a collectors item with all of the idiosyncrasies typical for these early guns. It will shoot but the feed mechanism may be a little temperamental.
This is a rifle that I help in my personal collection for many years because is such a nice one and a rare variant.
