The Crosman 1400 is a .22 caliber, single shot, multi-pump pneumatic pellet rifle with a wood stock slimline and forearm. It’s a highly sought after model for shooters who like to upgrade them for current field use. This particular gun is of the third variant which has a bolt handle instead of a breech cover. These were manufactured between 1973, and 1978. It’s becoming more and more difficult to find one of these rifles that are completely, or near completely original. An original factory box (new but old stock) included.
This gun is a little higher in price than what we sell them for, but it deserves a premium. It is about as nice as you’ll ever see one of these. Even the original caution stickers under the air tube are still in very good condition. The stock and forearm are in about 95% (or better) original condition. The metal retains about 95% of the original finish. The box is in about 90% condition (new but old stock). Beautiful!
It was cleaned, lubed, and resealed in our shop. Velocity tested at around 621 fps using lead pellets.
