Crosman 1400 Air Rifle SKU 9498
The Crosman 1400 is a .22 caliber, single shot, multi-pump pneumatic pellet rifle with a wood stock and forearm. This particular gun is the varaint with the handle on the bolt. These were manufactured between 1968, and 1972.
The wood looks like it may have been refinished at some time. There is a small chip in the forearm where the forearms meets the stock. I included a picture of the ship.
The metal is smooth and retains much of the original blue although it has turned somewhat to a brown patina.
Overall the gun has a great appearance. This is the slimline stock which is more streamlined and has the stock nut recessed to preserve the slim lines of the stock. This is a nice one…
The rifle was cleaned, lubed, and resealed in our shop. The velocity was tested at 607 fps using 14.3 gr. lead pellets. shoots good.
