Benjamin 347 .177 Pellet Rifle Mfg 1969-92 Folk Art
The Benjamin 347 is a .177 caliber, bolt action, single shot, multi-pump pneumatic with a rifled barrel. This model has manufactured between 1969-92.
The wood has the original finish, no chips or cracks. Excellent condition. Light general wear. This one has a pretty nice etching of a dog on the stock. Very cool folk art. This is a gun that I have held in my personal collection ofr many years, primarily because of this nice carving.
The metal has traces of the original black finish but is mostly down to the brass. Looks like the rear sight is mounted with two non- original screws but it looks OK.
The pump rivet has some wear, the pump action is not perfectly smooth and there is some damage to the pump tube where the rivet wore a spot out.
It was cleaned, lubed, and resealed in our shop. Velocity at 515 fps with 10 pumps using l8.44 gr ead pellets. Shoots good!
