The Benjamin 317 is a .177 caliber, breech loading, bolt action, single shot, pump-up pneumatic. This one has the “corncob” style pump handle. This is an early model with straight bolt handle. They were manufactured between 1940 and 1969. An original factory box, literature, and vintage Benjamin .177 pellet tin are included. A pretty rare find, and it’s unlikely we’ll have anything like this again anytime soon.
The wood stock and forearm have only minor general wear. Looks great! The left side of the barrel has some wear to the finish due to laying in the box for so long, while to right hand side looks practically new. The box itself isn’t perfect, but considering the age is in pretty good condition.
Velocity tested at around 650 fps using lead pellets. Shoots good!
