             
Benjamin Sheridan Model 397C in Orig. Box Rare Carbine Model SKU 9750
The Benjamin Sheridan 397C s a .177 caliber, single shot, multi-pump air rifle with a rifled steel barrel with hardwood stock. This one is marked Benjamin Sheridan E Bloomfield NY. SN 095xsxxxxx. the ” C” in the model number indicates that this is the carbine version.
I have seen only 2 of these in the 15 years I have been collecting airguns. They didn’t make many of these.
The overall length is 32 1/2″. Length of pull( trigger to butt) is 12″. this is about 3″ shorter than the standard model.
Very cool little rifle and one I guarantee you won’t see often.
The one is like new in the original box. The owners manual is included. The box has some light general wear. Due to the gragile nature of these old boxes, no guarantee on the condition of the box.
It was cleaned, lubed, and resealed in our shop. Velocity tested at around 631 fps using 7.9 gr. lead pellets.
