             
Benjamin Sheridan Model 397C Rare Carbine Model SKU 14443
The Benjamin Sheridan 397C s a .177 caliber, single shot, multi-pump air rifle with a rifled steel barrel with hardwood stock. This one is marked Benjamin Sheridan E Bloomfield NY. SN 604xsxxxxx. the ” C” in the model number indicates that this is the carbine version.
I have seen only 3 of these in the 15 years I have been collecting airguns. They didn’t make many of these.
Very cool little rifle and one I guarantee you won’t see often.
The one is like new.
It was cleaned, lubed, and resealed in our shop. Velocity tested at around 530 fps using 11.57 gr. lead pellets.
