“The Model A ” Super Grade is the Sheridan premier air rifle. Only 2130 were produced between 1947 and 1953. They are full sized, multi stoke pneumatic rifles. Advertised velocity was 700 fps with 8 pumps”  Backus, Sheridan Classic American Air Rifles 2nd ed.  p 11.

The cosmetic condition is exceptional.  The safety is missing however there are no cracks or dents in the wood or metal.

The metal retains about 85% of the original black finish.

The butt plate is the original one with the Sheridan name embossed on it. The front and rear sights appear to be complete and original.

This is an exceptionally rare air rifle and very desirable for the serious Sheridan collector.
