Benjamin Model 117 Air Pistol Mfg 1938-1941 SKU 10041
The Benjamin Model 117 was manufactured between 1938 and 1941. It is ia .177 caliber smooth bore with a ” grasshopper pump” style pump mechanism.
This is sold as a collectors item as the pump system is fragile. Not many of these guns survived intact.
It was cleaned, lubed, and resealed in our shop. Velocity tested at 321 fps using 7.9 gr lead pellets. Shoots good! This gun can also use BB’s or 177 lead round balls.
These were made of brass, the brass was coated with nickel and then the nickel was blackened. This one Has worn mostly down to the brass but still retains about 50%-60% of the original black finish.
Very cool old collectable airgun.
