This is the classic Crosman 160 that was used and sold through the Civilian Marksmanship Program. The Civilian Marksmanship Program guns always included the Williams’s peep sight and sling swivels.
.22 caliber, single shot, two C02 Powerlets, bolt action.
The Crosman 160 was made from 1955 to 1971. This is the third variant with a cast trigger- safety housing made from 1960-1971. This particular gun is in excellent condition. The metal has been polished and re-blued. The surfaces are all smooth and look good. The wood stock was re-finished in our shop. Looks good. We also installed new seals. The rifle holds air and shoots great. Velocity was tested and shot 80 fps with lead pellets.
If you are looking for an old school air rifle that is all wood and metal and no plastic, this is a nice one.
