Classic American Airgun. Made from 1948-1986
This gun was manufactured in the early sixties. It features a brown hand guard, hold down safety, straight bot, rea sight with one screw and two dimples. Ref. Backus p 41-44
They only used the brown hand guard for one year. Rare variant.
The wood on this rifle is nice, no chips or cracks. Original color and appearance, Its hard to tell if a new top coat has ever been applied to this gun. Looks pretty nice to be the original finish. Forearm and butt stock match. A few dings, nothing serious. Extra nice for a gun this age.
The metal is in excellent condition. This is a nice one.
Re-sealed in our shop. Velocity tested at 680 fps.with 13.73 gr pellets. this gun is shooting very hard for this model.
From my personal collection. The SKU in the 5000 range shows that his been in my possession for many years. Current SKU numbers are the 10,500 range. A lot of airguns have gone through my hands in the past 20 years.
