The J.C. Higgins 126.2830 is a Crosman 180 that was made for Sears. This one’s a first variant which has a cross bolt safety. Crosman 180’s are single powerlet CO2, .22 caliber, bolt action single shot pellet rifles with manual safety, and were manufactured between 1956 and ’62.
The wood stock is in better than 90% original condition. The metal retains about 85% of the original finish with nice even wear.
This one has been cleaned, lubed, and resealed in our shop. Velocity tested at around 450 fps using lead pellets.
