The Benjamin 117 was made from 1938 to 1941 and featured a “combination rod at the muzzle pump”. This is sometimes called a “grasshopper pump” because it shape resembles a grasshopper’s leg. This early model featured a rifled brass barrel, wood grips and a cross bolt safety.
This particular gun is in excellent condition. The metal finish retains about 80% of the original black finish. The grips and pump mechanism are both in excellent condition. This gun was re-sealed in our shop and the velocity tested 303 fps.
This is a very nice, early Benjamin air pistol in collectable condition.
