Matthias Drochner –
In the product description you say: “Velocity tested at around 850 fps using lead pellets.”
Would you help me understand this better?
(1) Who did the testing — the manufacturer when making the gun — or you, when you received the used gun?
(2) The 850fps are pretty meaningless to a buyer unless they know what weight the pellet had in the test? RWS Hobby 12 grain, Crosman Premier 14.4gn, JSB 15.89, … ?
Thanks for answering my questions, so I can make an informed decision.

On sku 8114 we did the testing. That’s a “test” result not a product rating from the manufacturer. We test with lead pellets as opposed to alloy, but do not list the grains or provide that much detail on used airguns. It’s just impractical on used airguns.
