This is one of the first variants of the Daisy Red Ryder Copperband BB gun. It has the Red Ryder brand on the left side of the stock, and is burned on as opposed to stamped as is the case with later variants. It also has the Fred Harmon signature in the branding on the stock. The first variant also has the front barrel band pinched into place instead of welded. The bands still have plenty of copper on them. These also have a cast iron cocking lever. They were manufactured between 1940, and 1941.
This one still has the original saddle ring, and thong. The wood stock and forearm are in very nice condition, and the metal retains about 60% of the original finish. We tested the velocity in our shop, and it shot 252 fps.
