Crosman Model 101 Mfg 1924-1950
The Crosman 101 was the standard Crosman rifle from 1924 to 1950. This is the later variant made before WW II.
This one has the rifled steel barrel, hex type rear sight and walnut stock and forearm. It has the short , knurled cocking knob typical of early rifles.
This is an exceptionally hard shooting gun. Velocity was tested at 717 fps with 15.89 gr lead pellets.
The metal has been re-painted.
The stock is walnut, has been re-finished. Pretty nice.
