The Crosman 1400 is a .22 caliber, single shot, multi-pump pneumatic pellet rifle with a wood stock and forearm. It’s a highly sought after model for shooters who like to upgrade them for current field use. This particular gun is of the first variant which includes a breech cover, and has no bolt handle like the 2nd variant. These were manufactured between 1968, and 1972. It’s becoming more and more difficult to find one of these rifles that are completely, or near completely original. This one is a Sears model 126.19300 variant and includes a new / old stock original factory box.
The wood stock and forearm are in about 85% original condition with a few nicks and dings but no cracks or serious damage. The metal retains at least 90% of the original finish.
It was cleaned, lubed, and resealed in our shop. Velocity tested at around 612 fps using lead pellets.
