Crosman 101 Silent Rifle Click-less Varaint Mfr 1938-39 SKU 10117
The Crosman 101 is a .22 caliber pneumatic pump bolt action single shot air rifle. It was the standard Crosman air rifle for over 25 years. They were manufactured between 1924 and 1950.
This particular one features the wide knurled cocking knob and hex shaped top receiver with large knurled peep sight. This is the “click-less” variant, the forearm is hard rubber. Crosman called this the ” Silent Rifle” in their advertising. Of course the pump mechanism was just as loud as the wood one but it made good copy in 1938. This variant was made from 1938-39.
It was cleaned, lubed, and resealed in our shop. Velocity was tested at 628 fps at 10 pumps using 14.3gr lead pellets. The metal was repainted in our shop.

This is a pretty early gun in excellent condition. It has a beautiful vintage looking walnut stock.
