This is an Apache Fireball with a wood stock and forearm with round loading port on the top of the receiver. It shoots (shot) .24 (No. 4 buckshot) caliber round balls, but also has (had) a threaded barrel insert for shooting .175 caliber round balls. Single shot, multi-pump pneumatic. They were manufactured between 1948 & 1949. Only 1 year.
The original barrel was replaced with an aftermarket (probably Crosman) .177 barrel which is longer. It is also missing the insert. Most of the metal finish has been removed. The stock and pump handle are in about 85% original condition with mostly just surface wear.
This gun has been modified, does not shoot, and may be missing parts. It is being sold “AS IS” with no returns.
