Daisy Get Together & Kalamazoo Airgun Show August 17, 2014
BB guns, pellet guns, high dollar field target techno-wizardry. There was something for anybody who likes airguns. Whether you are a antique airgun collector, a serious field target shooter or a backyard pinker. This show had something for you.
Held in the beautiful Kalamazoo Exp Center, hosted by long time collector Wes Powers and his lovely wife, Carolyn. , this show was, by any measure, a great success. The Expo center is the perfect place. It has nice bright lighting, easy parking and access, good food, and clean potties. All of this and airguns too! Whattadeal.
I love this show. Wes Powers is such a gracious host and a genuinely nice man. He and Carolyn manage the show very efficiently.. Everything is just perfect.
The night before the show there was a reception at the hotel. The ladies put out a nice spread of food and we all got together. Long time collectors and some of the leading experts in the field of airgun collecting right along with newcomers just getting into the hobby. Wes Powers, Duane Shaferly, Gary Garber and many others shared their enthusiasm for this great hobby.
And Sunday…..airguns, airguns, airguns. I was like a kid in a candy store.

The Southern Michigan Airgun Club held a fun shoot Saturday afternoon., they are building a 100 yard airgun range very close to Kalamazoo and have committed to have a shoot the same week end as the airgun show every year.
